The Legal Tab

Here’s what the Legal tab does for you

The Legal tab is designed to protect your agency from undue liability in the case of issues. It helps create a contract (when mutually agreed) between you and your client, so that both parties come out of the deal happy. Here’s how to find it:

First, login to Toursoft with your email and password

On the left-hand sidebar, select “Settings”

Next, select “Legal”

Here are all the legal stipulations you give to your clients. These tell your clients your company policies regarding payments, passport information, medical options, etc. You can edit each of these if you have the right permissions.

First, the Payment Conditions section:

The Payment Conditions section is to show your customers your expectations when it comes to receiving payments. This can clarify any issues, and gives you something in writing to show your agreement.

Next, the Cancellation Conditions section:

This is what communicates to your customers what they owe you (or don’t) in the case of a cancellation. You can build fair caveats into your itineraries, so that expectations can be met appropriately.

Passport & Visas section:

This section tells your customers your agency’s policy on visas. Do you provide assistance or not? What are the laws of the country you provide tours in? These are questions to answer here.

Travel Insurance:

This is where you can recommend (or provide) your travel insurance options. Make sure to include transparency here, and recommend safety.

Finally, the Medical Advice section:

Here is where you can recommend the acquisition of professional medical help. Toursoft does not make any claims of medical expertise or give medical advice in any way, or accept liability for any medical advice your agency provides.
